Learning low-level stuff pays off
Knowing low-level internals may not be a thing when you have a handful to hundreds of users. When you start dealing with large-scale systems, the rubber meets the road!
Every minute I spent learning low-level stuff paid off eventually. It might not be obvious initially, but it usually makes us better professionals in the medium to long term as we internalize the knowledge.
PromCon 2024
Last week (Sep 11 and 12) I had the chance to attend PromCon and it was here in Berlin again (lucky me :D). These were very insightful talks, as always.
Every year, the organizers run a quiz about Prometheus. What’s the probability of this distribution of the answers among 200 or so attendees? Funny XD
